An Trá Buí, Holmes’ of Doohoma, is a family run business and serves delicious food, including mouthwatering steaks and fresh seafood, while you can take in the beautiful views from your table of Ballycroy National Park and Achill Island. Food is served seasonally, so it may be wise to contact them before arrival (this relates to both the bar food and restaurant).
An Trá Buí, Holmes’ has both a traditional bar and an al a carte restaurant. Holmes’ offers fine dinning, along with bar food. You can also enjoy the traditional and contemporary music by local musicians, available every weekend . Its also a great place to just sit and relax beside the roaring turf fire after a long day of exploring Erris.
It is located in the scenic village of Doohoma and shows many historical artifacts from over the years. If you would like to experience tradition with a difference, Tra Bhui is the place to visit. You are gauranteed excellent food, music and craic!
