Blacksod Lighthouse has stood steadfast, shining bright over Blacksod Point for over 150 years.
Through automation the lighthouse keepers have left and our story keepers have taken the reins of this great lighthouse. Our guided tours will bring alive lighthouse life as it was for the keepers and their families, and guide you through the rich history of Ireland’s great lighthouses and aids to navigation.
