Carrowteige

Carrowteige/Ceathrú Thaidhg is a Gaeltacht village on the Dún Chaocháin peninsula. People travel from all over the world to enjoy the beautiful walking trails along the cliffs. There are several looped cliff walks which start and end at Carrowteige village. Maps are available from Comhar Dún Chaocháin Teo or pop in to the Seanscoil (community centre), the locals are delighted to provide you with maps of the routes and loops, and to chat with you about the area. The walks overlook Broadhaven Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. They take walkers past some of the Tír Saile sculpture trail.
