Scotchport

Scotchport is a beautiful bay with a narrow entry. On mild days it is calm and sheltered – perfect for diving! On windier days, it is a great place to watch the Wild Atlantic Way in action! Snorkellers and divers say that the water is crystal clear and provides the sort of colourful marine life you’d think were only in more exotic locations!

A plaque at Scotchport is inscribed with this lovely fisherman’s prayer:
“Dear Lord, be good to me. The sea is so wide; and my boat is so small.”
