The Belmullet Sea Angling Festival is an international festival that has been running for over 48 years. With over 40 varieties of fish known to inhabit the waters off the shores of Belmullet and Erris, it attracts fishermen from all over Europe. The festival involves open shore and sea angling competitions for men, ladies and juniors.
